Local Area Information

The property is located in the heart of the Brecon Beacons national park. The surrounding area boasts many walks and opportunities for cycling. The canal towpath is opposite the property and Pen Y Fan mountain is a short 15 minute drive away. Canal day boat hire is available a few minutes walk from the property.

There are several pubs and restaurants in Brecon town itself, all within walking distance. A nearby pub the Clarence Inn is very decent. http://clarenceinn.co.uk There are also some lovely pubs further down the canal if you are into walking or are happy to drive a short distance for lunch / dinner. The Royal Oak, Pencelli is lovely and has a beer garden next to the Canal. There is also a good Thai restaurant and a Nepalese / Indian restaurant a short walk from the house. https://gurkhacorners.co.uk/brecon/. The Brecon Tap also in town is not a typical pub but do specialise in pies and ales, they have great reviews.

There is an Aldi and a Morrisons supermarket both within a short walk from the house.
